Pain Pain Go Away

Who ever said no pain no gain? It darn sure is not me! Monday I woke up to a stiff neck. It did seem like it was getting better on Wednesday. That is when a co-worker of mine was giving another co worker of mine a massage. Hey Sherry, do you want one too? Nope, thanks, much appreciated. However, persistence paid off and John was having me flap my arms while his thumb as pressed on the ever present knot that has taken up residency by my right shoulder. I will say that it did feel better yesterday. Then bammo!!! About 5 am I woke up feeling like my head weighed about 80 pounds. I could not find a comfortable position and every shift of my body was a sharp stabbing pain to my head.

For obvious reasons, work was out of the question today. Les called into GOD (good old doctor) who could fit me in at 11:30. Oh yeah, I am there, barely, but I did get there. Pinched nerve in the neck and back. Pain pills, steroids and muscle relaxers are what the doctor ordered. I have been sleeping, but I think it is the kind of sleep that your body is craving, not because of the pills.

Scraple Dumpling Gang, here I come! Now, whoever said no pain no gain? I am hoping to receive the benefits of all of this pain!

Third time is a charm?????

I was reviewing the comment that Holly made and I was sneaky in my reply. I told her that Addie got a car, but I didn’t tell you that I also got one! Two for one!

Addie got a white Chevy Cobalt and I got a white Suburban! Man the people at the dealership were surprised. Addie and I are both THRILLED with our cars! This is the most excited about a car that I have ever been. LOVE THIS CAR!!
